Tarang Studios was built to near-perfect
environment standards, catering to the need
for both digital and analog platforms. While
designing, there was only one objective in
mind – that of simply producing great sound.
Achieving high STC ratings for walls,
ceilings and floors was a very elaborate and
resource-consuming exercise. The services of
one of the most renowned acoustic consulting
firms was hired to measure the noise source,
both internal and external and thereafter
set a dB goal to be achieved (sound
transmission class using the formula ‘dB in
noisy area minus dB desired in quiet area=
desired STC). Tarang Studio today has
achieved the STC goal of 67dB |
